Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 5 August 2026

We want everyone to be able to read about, buy and download The Vibe Coder Guide. Accessibility is a subject this guide teaches, so it would be embarrassing to get it wrong here — and if we have got something wrong, we want to know.

Conformance status

This website aims to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Our current self-assessed status is partially conformant: most of the site meets Level AA, with the known exceptions listed below.

This statement reflects our own testing. It is not a third-party audit, a VPAT or an Accessibility Conformance Report. If you need a procurement-grade conformance report, contact us and we'll arrange an independent evaluation.

What we've built in

Known limitations

How we tested

Manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of every page and flow; automated checks with browser accessibility tooling; programmatic contrast verification of every colour pair in the design system against WCAG thresholds; reflow and zoom testing at 320 px and 400%; and testing with light, dark, reduced-motion and increased-contrast system settings. Testing was carried out in August 2026 on current versions of Chrome and Safari.

We have not yet completed testing with every screen reader and assistive technology combination, and we have not commissioned testing by disabled users. Reports from real use are the most valuable thing you can send us.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site or the Guide stops you doing something, please tell us — you don't need to know the standard or the terminology, just what happened.

We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and aim to fix, or give you a dated plan and a workaround, within 10 business days. If a fix will take longer, we'll give you the content or complete the transaction another way in the meantime.

Formal approach

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is also the benchmark referenced in U.S. Department of Justice guidance on the Americans with Disabilities Act, in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and in the European Accessibility Act (via EN 301 549). Accessibility is treated as a release gate here, not a post-launch cleanup: changes to this site are checked for keyboard operation, focus, contrast and structure before they go live.
